Pro: fancy beige actually looks pretty great cleaned up
Cons:
The mystery of “is it dirt?” / “is it a scratch?” Is ruined.
Oh...yeah they’re all scratches.

Those aren’t scratches, those are pinstripes and they suit it very well.

This is like one of the only times the phrase “That’ll buff right out” is accurate. Not that you would want to but still.

Now imagine the effect if it was a black Cruiser. Yikes. You’ve got a great color to hide those!

Those still...The biggies won’t

Car washing is always simultaneously satisfying and depressing.

That is a nice looking rig. Ah, so many cars to buy.

Scratches on a Land Cruiser are just battle scars to be worn with honor.

Whoa, it’s beige? I always thought it was that medium gray that so many are painted in. I like it.

It’s called “antique sage” and is unique to the 40th anniversary. I call it fancy beige

I suppose full paint correction is not a cost-effective thing to do on a heavily used car. This your DD?

I assume you me me. Yeah its my dd, and no its not getting repaint anytime soon.

Oops replied to the wrong post. Yes, your LC. Still looks pretty good though, how many miles?

yeah, the seats are none too fresh but the rest of the truck doesn’t look bad at all.

I like your naming convention, and am going to start calling mine “plebeian beige,” or “beige beige.”

Poverty beige? (in honor of the highly coveted poverty pack editions)

I like my sunroof, dammit.

I sure don’t. Sure its nice to film out of but it makes the roof panel so floppy on washboard roads and its just more to leak. I wont be sealing it up anytime soon, but if I had my way it would have never come with it.

Fair points all. But it lets in some sun and a nice breeze and doesn’t leak (yet), so I’m happy with it.
